Jerry Ginther is a native of Illinois, but has resided in Texas for the past twenty years. The son of a prairie farmer father of German descent, who was raised in the Dutch Reformed Church, and a mother of English descent, he was second from the youngest of several siblings. Past generations have a history in both the Dutch Reformed and the Lutheran Church. He is married with five children. and twelve grandchildren.
His background includes attending Lutheran grade school, public High School, a two year stint in the United States Army, a degree in Christian ministry and certification in Christian counseling, with a large portion of his Bible education being acquired at Moody Bible Institute, on campus, in Chicago, IL. He is an ordained minister and has been involved in ministry since the late 1980's which has included hospital chaplaincy, nursing home services, pulpit preaching and teaching the Bible in adult classes.
In addition to being the Webmaster for Christian Life Bible Church and editing the monthly Newsletter, "The Christain Life Counselor," he is currently in the process of organizing and establishing the above mentioned Church in central Texas. Writing for Christian publications is another ministry he pursues as time permits.
